Used to be famous ayam taliwang, now its all over, chicken is so hard and hot, lots of mosquito inside the resto.

The ayam taliwang, signature dish of Lombok here was so good! We miss how it taste after going back home. The price is here is quite expensive, might be because it is a decent dining restaurant but worth to try

Taste was oke. But too pricey and the resto need to be maintained or even renovate. I was the only guest having lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Spending a total of idr 100.000 for my self alone.

The famous dish from Taliwang, Lombok....we went there for breakfast....the place is super comfortable, basically a large roof, supported by secular coconut pillars, that once stood straight (they are charmingly leaning, not as much as the Pisa tower though 😋), there are many wooden tables, and heavy chairs. I was shy, and did order an ayam bakar madu manis (honey bbq chicken, sweet, no chilly), and it was delicious. Its a whole small chicken, not fatty, really good meat, enhanced by the crackling honey roast, very well cooked. I left schreds of bones, and even cats would curse me for that, because not enough leftover for them. My wife went full spice, and its not scary....its actually very tasty, hot yes, but not agressively hot. Its a beauty.So both dishes were perfect, the mango juice and ice tea we got were just nice, a bit too much on the sugary side, but very good experience.

Varied menu, spacious place. Unfortunately waiting for a long time, almost 1 hour may be because there are many guests too. But the long waiting time is comparable to the delicacy of Taliwang grilled chicken plus plecing water spinach and roasted eggplant servings served

Expensive and the chicken so little

Came here on account of all the good reviews. We had the ayam plecing (grilled chicken), plecing kangkung (boiled veggies with chilli sauce - the locals have this as a side dish with pretty much everything), satay sum sum (for the life of me I still have no idea what meat this is but it was soft like tofu and apparently beef in origin. It's a mystery!). Flavours were good and the food was very tasty. Portions were very very tiny though. Almost tapas sized! Which was odd considering the price is on the high side. I had an awesome soda gembira (rose syrup, condensed milk and soda water - it's a sugar bomb!) though.

Good taliwang chicken in Lombok, we can order to reduce spicy.

I dont know about other days but when i went there they were lack of waitresses .. so .. if u r in a hurry, i dont recommend u to go there .. the food was okey

First time i visited the place..there was a lack of staff so the waiter suggest us to order fried chicken because it's the fastest they could prepare..even so..we waited so long and most of the food on the menu were said to be out of stock..a table accross from us even left the restaurant for being abandoned too long
